Since these topics are relevant to people in most areas of life, my research also has a direct application link to work and organizational psychology, political psychology, and health psychology.<\/p><p>In the far north of Germany, I teach and conduct research as a lecturer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sozial.psychologie.uni-kiel.de\/de\/sozialpsychologie-und-politische-psychologie\">Chair of Social and Political Psychology<\/a> at Kiel University. I completed my habilitation in 2020 with the habilitation thesis &#8220;Social Psychology of Recognition: On the Role of Respect and Self-Respect for Society and the Individual.&#8221;<\/p><p>For several years, I have been a reviewer for various scientific journals and am currently also a Consulting Editor for the European Journal of Social Psychology.
